Hello Spring - Natural Spring Rejuvenation for Your Body and Mind

With holiday festivities, shorter days, and cold weather soon behind, for many, spring often brings with it a number of health challenges. As we emerge from the long winter, our bodies naturally work to renew and gear up for the summer. Spring is also the season on blooming, thus allergies might strike many of us.

There are many ways we can support our bodies during springtime to help the rejuvenation process, strengthen our immune system and alleviate allergy symptoms.

Simple and easy ways to boost your immune system during springtime:

  • Eat a clean, whole food diet including spring seasonal produce - apples, apricots, asparagus, avocados, bananas, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, collard greens, garlic, herbs, kale, kiwifruit, lemons, lettuce, limes, mushrooms, onions, peas, pineapples, radishes, rhubarb, spinach, strawberries, Swiss chard, turnips.

  • Get enough sleep - aim for between 7-9 hours of quality sleep at night.

  • Get some fresh air and sun - get outside as much as possible to enjoy fresh air and some Vitamin D.

  • Exercise - get regular exercise at least 3-4 times a day. It doesn't have to be high impact. A long walk goes a long way.

  • Consider a gentle detox - don't be too harsh too soon with your body. Simply cleaning up your diet to ditch processed food and sugar in the first place will do wonders to help your body detox.

  • Hydrate - get plenty of filtered water to hydrate. Another good option is coconut water mixed with water for extra hydration.

  • Supplement with immune boosting ingredients.
